A Message From Mayor Jack Reed, Jr.
The City of Tupelo is ready to welcome our newest citizens to town! Below on our website we have prepared a list of facts and a list of anticipated questions and answers citizens may have regarding what annexation means to those who live in the newly-annexed areas.
We believe that you will find that the quality of life provided by our City’s standards and assets will be a value when compared to the taxes eventually contributed toward operating a progressive, attractive, safe City of Tupelo.
If you still have questions after studying the information on our website, please call us at Tupelo City Hall at 662-841-6513 and we will respond.
We are convinced that a strong county seat makes for a strong Lee County, and that once we all settle in, this annexation will bring prosperity to all involved.
Also, please join us for “Meet the City Day” on Wednesday, September 12th from 8am-6pm, at Tupelo City Hall. We will have the lobby of city hall set-up with representatives from all of our city departments to answer your questions and hand out brochures, etc… on city services. Please stop by at your convenience. We look forward to meeting you!
-Mayor Jack Reed, Jr.
