MEDIA ADVISORY ON #MyTupelo CAMPAIGN
WHO: The Tupelo Convention and Visitors Bureau is launching the #MyTupelo campaign today at noon at the Tupelo CVB office.
WHAT: #MyTupelo Video Shoot – Everyone is welcome to drop by and give a short video testimony on what makes Tupelo special to them.

WHEN: Thursday, April 18, 2013 from 12 p.m. – 5 p.m.
Friday, April 19, 2013 from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.
WHY: The #MyTupelo Campaign is designed to give those living and working in Tupelo the opportunity to tell Tupelo’s story from their perspective. Tupelo is a diverse and culturally rich town with a different meaning for every person. This is an opportunity to engage in the conversation that the nation is having about Tupelo, Mississippi.
Founded in 1985, the Tupelo Convention and Visitors Bureau’s mission is to promote Tupelo as a viable site to visit in the State of Mississippi; to provide support for tourism-related projects; and to educate and assist the public regarding tourism development, which will result in increased tourism revenue and a positive image for the City of Tupelo.
