Tupelo: All-America City for the Fifth Time – Watch our Presentation

History Made in 2015

In June, Tupelo made history by becoming the only city in the South to be named an All-America City five times. That honor has been earned only seven times in the United States of America.
Tupelo was one of 10 of 16 cities to earn the All-America City designation in Denver, with the theme of "Dare to Dream" presented by a team, 41 strong, of city officials, community leaders and nonprofit group members.
The presentation featured programs in the city designed to help vulnerable youth in Tupelo.
Tupelo has won this honor, considered the highest municipal award in the country, in 1967, 1989, 1999 and 2011.
