The Building and Codes Division contains the Building Inspectors, Code Enforcement Inspectors as well as the Permits Office.

CODES ENFORCEMENT

Our Codes Enforcement staff are responsible for the inspection and enforcement of residential rental property and the Property Maintenance Code.

The new Residential Rental Ordinance passed October 2011, is located in the Codes Enforcement area of our site. Within the next week we will be posting the updated Rental Registration Form and a sample of the new Certificate of Registration. Follow us on Twitter, @tupdds, for update on our department.

BUILDING

Plans are reviewed every Thursday on the third floor of City Hall by all City of Tupelo departments involved in the construction process.
