The Tupelo Finance Department is responsible for managing all the city’s fiscal affairs. The department provides financial and management information, control, and guidance to the mayor, City Council, department heads and agencies.
Services provided include accounting, administrative services and financial reporting, investments, debt management, tax and other revenue collection. Staff also assist in development of processes and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and ordinances.
The Chief Financial Officer / City Clerk is Kim Hanna.
Financial audits are conducted to determine if funds are accounted for and spent in accordance with governmental account standards and legal requirements.
