TUPELO, Miss—The new Tupelo Visitors Center will open Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. April through July. In order to welcome more visitors to Tupelo during peak festival season and to showcase the city’s newest attraction, the Tupelo Convention & Visitors Bureau has extended its spring and summer hours.
“As we head into one of the busiest times of the year for travel to Tupelo, we want to give our guests more opportunities to explore the new Tupelo Visitors Center and ultimately our city’s many attractions,” said Neal McCoy Tupelo Convention & Visitors Bureau executive director. “Through feedback from our hotel partners and tour operators sending visitors to Tupelo, we made the decision to extend our hours to meet the needs of our guests.”
The Tupelo Visitors Center is located at 399 East Main Street in Tupelo. From interactive exhibits that highlight Tupelo’s top attractions and a collective timeline of the city’s rich history, to displays focused on Elvis’ childhood in Tupelo as told like never before, the Tupelo Visitors Center will fully prepare visitors for exploring the city.
