On March 31, the Tupelo Police Department arrested Michael E Taylor for burglary of a dwelling and DUI third.
Officers responded to a burglary call on Clayton Street at 10 pm, where the owner reported that the residence had been broken into and several items were missing. Home electronics, decorative items and various home furnishings were missing.
At approximately 11:20 pm officers were dispatched to a residence on W Jackson St for a disturbance. At the scene they located Taylor and arrested him for a felony DUI warrant. The officers noticed that the stolen items from the earlier report were in Taylor’s residence.
Lee County Justice Court Judge Sadie Holland set Taylor’s bond at $10,000.
