We at the Tupelo Fire Department want to do what we can to help you with whatever you need. To help with this, we have comprised a “how to” list, of some of the most frequent requests. If you have a question or want more information about an inspections or fire safety, visit our Fire Marshal’s Office page by clicking “here” or on the button above.
Obtain a Fire Report
If you have experienced a fire and need to obtain a fire report, you can do so a couple of different ways.
You can email the request to TupeloFireDepartment@tupeloms.gov, or call us at 662-841-6439 during regular business hours.
Please provide the date of the fire, and the address of where the fire took place.
The fire report can be picked up the following business day at 106 W. Jefferson St.
*Note: all fire reports must be picked up in person and a valid ID must be shown.

Order a KnoxBox
To order a KnoxBox for a commercial property go to www.knoxbox.com.
- Enter the state and department which the KnoxBox will be installed for (Mississippi, Tupelo Fire Dept.)
- Type “Tupelo Fire Dept.”
- Search & Select Tupelo Dept.
- Follow the steps to order.
- Commercial business must order 3200 or 4400 Series.
Once you have received and installed the KnoxBox, call 662-841-6439 to schedule a Fire Marshal to come out and lock the box.
Schedule an inspection
To schedule an inspection from the Fire Department please call 662-841-6439 or email the request to TupeloFireDepartment@tupeloms.gov.
YOU MUST RECEIVE CONFIRMATION THAT THE REQUESTED DATE AND TIME IS AVAILABLE!!!
- All inspections must be scheduled a minimum of 48 hours in advance.
- A visit is not officially scheduled until confirmation from the Fire Department is received.
All requests must include the following information:
- Type of inspection (Certificate of Occupancy, Regular Annual, Fire Protection etc.)
- Name of business to be inspected
- Location of business
- Date & Time preferred for the inspection
- Name and Phone number of point of contact
Schedule a visit by Tupelo Fire Department
To schedule a visit from the Fire Department please call 662-841-6439 or email the request to TupeloFireDepartment@tupeloms.gov.
YOU MUST RECEIVE CONFIRMATION THAT THE REQUESTED DATE AND TIME IS AVAILABLE!!!
- All visits must be scheduled a minimum of five (5) business days in advance.
- A visit is not officially scheduled until confirmation from the Fire Department is received.
All requests must provide the following information:
- Location of visit
- Date & Time preferred for the visit
- Name and Phone Number of Point of Contact
- Age and Number of People/Children
- Reason for visit i.e. fire education, fire extinguisher training etc.

To schedule a visit to a Fire Department station please call 662-841-6439 or email the request to TupeloFireDepartment@tupeloms.gov.
YOU MUST RECEIVE CONFIRMATION THAT THE REQUESTED DATE AND TIME IS AVAILABLE!!!
