STREETS
This division makes repairs to potholes, driveway tie-ins, and pavement throughout the city.
The Street Division oversees the milling and overlay of streets and the replacement of curb and gutter. About 343 miles of city streets are maintained with the exception, MDOT and Federal rights of way inside the City of Tupelo.
DRAINAGE
Constructs and maintains drainage systems throughout the city, allowing adequate removal of storm water.
GROUNDS
In 2006, the Public Works Department completed a tree farm on S. Lawndale Road. This farm nurtures about 1,800 saplings.
